AVT's flagship platform, PrintVision/Jupiter for Packaging Printing, is an advanced video-based inspection system that automatically detects defects in various types of printing processes. The system eliminates the need for human operator judgment to visually monitor and inspect print output.

For the Label Printing market, AVT developed the PrintVision/Helios, an automatic 100% inspection system for quality assurance workflow. The system can be mounted on press for in-line inspection or on a re-widener for post press handling. Characterized by high sensitivity and ease of operation, the PrintVision family of systems dramatically increases output quality and management control while cutting material waste and enhancing labor efficiency.

Automatic register pre-setting and control (Close loop) Module

The AVT pRegister module is an optional feature of the AVT PrintVision automatic defect detection systems and uses the same optical head for its operation. Using vertically or horizontally printed target and a communication link to the press, pRegister closes the loop and automatically sets the color plates into registration. pRegister setup is simple, fast and easy to use. pRegister works with CI Flexo presses and supports jobs up to ten colors. pRegister range of operation resides between a very large initial miss-register error to a fine accuracy, which is achieved very fast while reducing setup time and related waste.
